I think I could count the total number of tweets I have actually sent out using the www.twitter.com
interface on two hands. This reason for this isn’t that it is overly
difficult to use. On the contrary, it’s really quite simple. But with a little help from an application named TweetDeck; I quickly found it to be even EASIER to sent out tweets.
Please continue on to find out how installing this FREE Twitter app can quickly and easily make your tweets more informative, effective and FUN!
After signing up for Twitter as @wishlistwray (shameless plug!!!), I send out a handful of messages on the official site. But it wasn’t until TweetDeck was introduced to me that the messages started flowing consistently and almost effortlessly on a much more consitent basis
.
TweetDeck allows you to use Twitter more efficiently by breaking down Twitter’s functionality into customizable columns. Once you have used these columns, it’s tough to go back to the standard Twitter methods.
One of Tweet Deck’s greatest strengths is that you can practically view everything you want to see regarding your own Twitter account and the people you are following in ONE area without having to click around from page to page on a website.
The columns can present many types of information to you including your Friends, Direct Messages, Searches and much more. YOU set what you would like to see in these columns.
With TweetDeck, notifications are able to be set which let me know when people I’m following have something to say. A subtle box appears in the top right corner of my screen with a notice tone displaying the user’s profile image and their just released tweet.
If you’re quick enough, you can even click on that notification box and “retweet” (RT) or reply in that very same box. I do this quite often as this task can be done in seconds!
Another feature I use very often is the Search. For instance, I have a column in my TweetDeck reserved for searching and displaying all tweets that include “wishlistproduct”.
This allows me to keep my finger on the pulse of ALL messages pertaining to WishList Products. If a tweet contains “wishlistproduct”, I know about it. In real time!
TweetDeck has MANY additional features that could cause this post to be 3 times as long as it is already (Facebook, MYspace and LinkedIn capabilities, etc.).
I encourage you to download TweetDeck and give it a try yourself to explore all these options.
It can benefit Twitter Pros and Amateurs alike.
